I completely agree with Smidgey too.

The fact that Bear admits a "totalitarian" state is desirable, indicates his acknowledgement that it is the brainwashing and control that he is in favour of.

Bear is quick to attack other policies which waste money, but is quick to support the EU(which apparenty save us money) and is against home schooling(which would also ease the burden on the overstretched education system.

If the government can't control everybody, Bear will not be in favour of it.

Though I am slightly shocked he speaks out against GM food
(though I forget that may affect him directly.)

I would love to see a world where the a new libertarian media exposes the sins of history and the lies of our previous generations are shown on television. (and they replace Deal or No deal hopefully too ! )

My god, I can just see the look on people's faces now - something like

I pray with luck it might just happen one day and people will realize how much they have been lied to about everything.

At least in America they have talk radio to spread the word.

What do we have here ?

Are most British people just too slovenly and selfish to stand up and be counted ?

If America had a mass truth awakening and change of power base, I could imagine the same would catch on here.

Just imagine all those politicians saying "It wasn't us !"

No wonder they're now running at full speed to shut down and replace the internet - they hadn't counted on that !

America is the big litmus paper test I feel.
