I think it is fair to say that UKIP has truly suffered at the hands of many who now find this forum a sanctuary to indulge their brainless meanderings. Lets hope the new breed of UKIPer's can deliver where some of those who post here have failed.

Fair point Bob. It would seem that some here do not realise we are hanging on to outdated imperialist dogma which perpetuates the economic and social differences in our society. It's a dictatorship - a self perpetuating autocracy.
You and I both know that supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses.
Let's hope UKIP can capitalise on this.

Oh dear, C. I have no illusions as to where power lies, however that power is only effective, if the purveyors of that power are deemed acceptable by the masses, which is why post MT the unions for two decades wielded little. That tide has turned because a 'Labour' Government has yet again failed to deliver prosperity for the masses, so the unions are again flexing their muscle, at a time which will bring more austerity. The cycle needs to be broken.
chikrodah, I suppose the use of inane is repeating oneself but nevertheless an appropriate term. I guess I can also expect a raft of posts from our night owls once I have retired. I will do my best to read them all and respond.
