It would seem in preparation for the European Elections next year Nigel has appointed a press officer who lives in Europe, Portugal to be precise. Does Nigel consider the situation in Britain to be so bad that he is moving the entire UKIP operation overseas, first the treasurer and now the press officer?



Timmy Tax-Exile (henceforth known as TEX) will not be spending his time schmoozing with the British Press as this might impact upon his tax status, but instead will be concentrating on his 'Blog' which he can happily do from his villa on the Algarve.

I am not sure how well this will sit with the Electoral Commission as TEX is on the MEP candidate list in London. (Doesn't anybody read the rules, or do we just totally disregard them as in the case with our own internal selection process?)



While the new party press officer might not actually live in the UK it is a vast improvement on Tixylix (a.k.a. Ms Fuller) who did not actually reside on this planet. Her greatest ever scoop is yet to hit the headlines as the sale price has yet to be agreed but I believe the current offer is a five figure sum.



Tixylix has been a tad indiscreet and has allowed herself to be taped as she describes in graphic detail her nocturnal (and occasional mid-afternoon in the office) exploits with Nigel. It makes the whole deal of the John West tape pale into insignificance!



But Nigel is no fool he has been for some time preparing his exit strategy. Negotiations to get a slot on talksport and a column in one of the tabloids have been in existence for some time.



Please Nigel devote your undeniable talents to evolving a strategy for next year's elections, its boom or bust time for UKIP we need everyone pulling in the same direction.

eublues,I think Farage has done a deal to look after himself and his cabal plus the NEC 9 et al.

The UKIP Membership will be the real losers and its a damned shame as well.

I know of nobody at all that has joined UKIP so that they can work to support Subsidiarity to the EU and pro EU List MEP Candidates like Andreason,not to mention the other discrepencies that have come with electing Farage et al.

How can you deny this stuff and continue to spin the Farage line to thousands of UKIP Members?

You should be ashamed of yourself,Farage and his cabal.
