The UKIP are pretty much dead, and everybody knows it. Lets not encourage it.

UKIP's not dead at all, yet. It is impossible for politicos such as ourselves to judge on this matter so far before the elections. Another good result in June will give UKIP another few years of life. Personally, I think that UKIP will fall in the EU elections, but I could easily be wrong and others predict a decent result.
