He was suspended from UKIP as soon as these allegations were made. Bearing in mind the length of time he has been on remand, his (suspended) membership will have lapsed.
Nobody within the branch had any idea or suspicion's, after all If you cannot trust a Royal butler who can you trust. I would hope that you would have the decency to not try to make political capital, out of a tragedy for many people! ![]() |

Well spotted Shaun, this must mean that all UKIP members are paedophiles because of this guys actions
And presumably all BNP members are Holocaust deniers just like Griffin All BNP members must like attempted sex with underage girls as per Hannan and Collets antics in Blackpool All BNP members must aspire to be convicted bomb makers just like LeComber And all BNP members must believe that AIDs is a friendly disease because it mainly affects Gays and Blacks just as Collet tells everyone who will listen. What a charming party, one to be proud of to be sure, one must question the intelligence and morality of anyone belonging to an organisation run by such a bunch of outstanding citizens! |

My mother, when a Tory councillor, used to give a lift to a fellow councillor who was a God fearing member of his church. He was sent down as a result of Operation Ore and none of the Tories in Coventry knew his background. In Oxfordshire we said goodbye to a senior Lib Dem councillor for the same reason. Paedophilia is an incurable disease that affects people of all parties and none so no capital should be made, but it will be.
As with all candidates you can never be certain of the character of the person you are getting. UKIP had a convicted murderer a few years back and we had a fraudster elected as MEP. The various scandals surrounding party funding for peerages or misuse of EU allowances have hit the established parties. Glass houses and stones come to mind when people attack the party over the people it recruits.

[psst: did you know they want to lower the age of consent across the EU to about 13 - just to help get over their paedophilia tendancies. Mind you, one wonders why they bother, as they are no doubt immune from any prosecution for such offences as paedophilia - or murder, come to think of it] |

Each country has separate rules on immunity. UK MEPs do not enjoy immunity from prosecution as Ashley Mote proved over 3 years of wriggling to establish that they do (despite his bleating in his books that they should not).
Each country also has different laws, for historical reasons, over what constitutes paedophilia. The common law in this country allowed girls to have sex at the age of 12 until the late Victorian era when it was raised to 16. Saxon laws allowed marriage at the age of 7, but life expectancy was low and many people didn't make their late teens. Boys could have heterosexual sex at the age of 14 until fairly recently when the age was standardised at 16. Male homosexual sex was made illegal by the Victorians, but legalised again in the 1960s. The age has gradually been reduced from 21 to 16. Female homosexuality was always legal under common rather than canon law. The age of consent in Spain remains at 13, IIRC, although surveys suggest that on average Spaniards start sex later than Brits. Most countries will not prosecute experimentation by children on children unless violence is used, the real issue is largely predatory males substantially older than the children they molest. I doubt that any changes in EU law will come about until the criminal law has become an EU competency, which it is not at present. Nyge21, do you have any proof for your assertion that the EU commission (I assume you mean only the commissioners, many of whom are happily married) are all paedophiles?

As to offering proof, well its the commission that is calling for the age to be lowered to the lowest common denominator - eg 13 (or was it 12) Clearly, the commission have an agenda here - no doubt they are stuffed full of paedophiles - and even if they are not , is that any reason to let the EU off the hook. Anything that is seen as "beyond the pale" in the electorate's eyes should be used against the EU . They deserve it. If we say it loud and often enough, people will think "there's no smoke without fire" Whether any commissioners get arrested or maltreated because of it is immaterial, they deserve being treated like dirt anyway for the appalling things they have done to our countries without democratic mandate. Paedophilia is a useful weapon in that attack - one which the public at large will grab hold of - so well worth using against ALL EU workers I call upon everyone everywhere to call all EU supporters paedophiles. |
