Firstly the website was mine in the first place, and yes they are perfectly happy. They instigated a website change a year ago after I resigned, and rather than go to the trouble of changing DNS codes and authorisations they registered .info.
Freedom to Choose was also my idea as a name, so again no conflict there, and yes they are happy it's on the UKIP site, because UKIP has given media support to the campaign . F2C are not an anti smoking ban group, they are a pro-choice group. We at Freedom2Choose do not represent either extreme of the passive smoke debate; we are not a pro-tobacco organisation funded by tobacco companies nor are we anti-smokers funded by drug companies. We are members of the public from all walks of life, professional through to working class, united in a determination to expose the myths that are currently leading to the removals of the freedoms of the people of this nation. Isn't that what UKIP stand for. I still when ask appear on behalf of F2C as I did in a recent radio debate with ASH and others. |

I debated with myself as to whether I was really bothered to comment on this thread and decided I in the end I would!!
What is all the fuss about Bob FM feels he has virtually prove GLW has lied - how come?? As I understand it GLW simply says he acquire the logo and was using it publicly before UKIP did. This is a fact so what is the problem?? As Spon has said this is simply another UKIP administrative **** up. |

Has there been one. GLW claims he used it first. I am advised he took it from UKIP's holding site. UKIP or GLW are lying. I thought the political elite on here frequently claim UKIP should be honest and transparent. It seems however on this topic they don't wish the same standard.

It depends on whether you regard the holding site contents - UKIP UK independence party as having been in the public domain at the time.
I recall Rowntree Mackintosh (Now Nestle) got wind of the Wispa launch in advance, and rejigged their Aero design. Poorer quality - it melted in the hand too easily - but where is Wispa now? Aero's still around... |

Sorry Spon is there a point to your last post. We are not talking about the action of copying the site, we are talking about the action of lying. Either UKIP are lying or GLW is. But of course because you all either know or suspect GLW is lying that would do your cause celeb' no good at all. And below is the pathetic levels same GLW has sunk. But I'm sure some will think this was an intelligent email.
Results 1 - 20 of about 2,040,000 for "freedom to choose". (0.26 seconds) It seems that there have been at least 2,000,000 infringements of his claimed copyright! Bob Feel Martinis must surely be a recruiting sergeant for the BNP, as anyone who watched his You Tube video clips, realised he had an opinion on everything and knowledge of almost nothing and was unable to discuss in a grown up manner, who then found he was ANYTHING to do with EUkip would run away in panic to find a moderate party to support. This would be about the ONLY instance where by comparison the BNP could be seen as moderate! Regards, Greg 01291 – 62 65 62 Last edited by Bob FM; 02-09-2008 at 08:51 AM. Whether or not a poor quality draft logo should have been on an open access webpage is a different matter - but it's not the only time "trial" pages have tripped up a UKIP webmaster... |
