Not another 'new party', please. Surely there are better ways of using time and effort in the anti-EU cause.

If it becomes a home for the anti-UKIP nutters let them get on with it.

I do tend to agree with you, but, if you are amongst those who believe that UKIP has lost relevance, what choice is there? It is only a political party that can change our relationship with the EU and unless you can support the BNP - where do you go?

Thanks for your warm support Michael - you will of course be welcome when you tire of the wilderness!

Typical UKIP thinking from MM and eublues, one would think that they would welcome a new party that would carry the withdrawalists fight right to the heart of the real problem in THIS COUNTRY,THE LIB-LAB-CON.

Dont try to block new thinking ukippers,in fact, you should be generating it.

You guys in UKIP need to rethink strategy because what you have been doing for 14 years just isnt working is it?

Yes - but nevertheless it is difficult to deny being simply anti UKIP if having decided the Party is failing and in decline you are not prepared to look for alternatives.

In the above poll 35 members have voted to say they believe UKIP will decline whatever result they get at the EU elections. A few/some/many may be members of BNP, The Liberal Party or the English Democrats, but those who are eurosceptic and not members of these parties must be looking for a new political home.

Just in case you did not see it on the 'NF on Question Time' thread this gives even more thrust for a new party.

Umbrella Blog • View topic - UKIP - combined thread

Although it is clear that there is pressure building from within the UKIP NEC to rest total control of the party from NF - he does have enough of his cronies on this Committee to withstand any challenge if he so wishes. As I have said, I think it is more likely he will jump ship [to the Tories - if they were prepared to make an MEP offer] if it becomes clear to him that he will not be re-elected as an MEP through UKIP.

However, in my view, the most likely outcome is that NF will still be leader of UKIP at the time of the next GE!
