I think that if she was operating under orders from someone it all would have been handled with a little more forethought and planning. And in any event, if the tape was to be deliberately released on orders from the party leadership, there were ways that it could have been done that would have been entirely above board and legitimate.

It appears to me that Annabelle lost her temper with John West and did something that was ill judged in releasing the video. The intemperate remark she made on this forum about having embarrassing videos of John West would bear this out. I do happen to have sources of my own, just as many others do, and it appears that this matter caught the party leadership by surprise.

We know it is the countryside in which they are staying, and it will be sufficient to say boo to a goose, he must say BOO to Cameron. Why is our morale so low!
You're not a Sun reader I take it Mr Collier. Or if you are did your dislike of Farage cause you to not report the rather sympathetic take on this which was in that, our most popular newspaper, several days ago?

I am happy to accept that explanation. For the record I do not recall MikeUK ever threatening legal action against any member of this forum and being vaguely aware of the circumstances of his action consider that such circumstances would never be allowed to arise on this forum.

Or a blog reader: It was on Annabelle's (quite famous around here I believe) blog on Monday. Likely the source from which the Sun got it....

Independent UKIP: I am not a Sun reader, but it is disappointing that you didn't inform us of those favourable details.

Tim Worstall: I believe that you are are an avid reader of Fuller's and Gwain Towler's world-view, and subscribe to many of them yourself.

I'm certainly a reader of their blogs yes, but why that should be a surprise I'm not sure. My own blog is one of the UK's leading political blogs and I also earn some portion of my living from monitoring and writing about political and economic blogs. To that end my RSS reader has some 400 blogs in it: given that I share a political party with the two of them it's not all that much of a surprise that their blogs are two of them (or other UKIP bloggers like Mark Wadsworth).

Similarly, given that I'm in the same political party they are (or were in one case) I'm not sure that it's going to be all that much of a surprise that I share some of their world-view: as indeed I share some with you too, for very much the same reason.

Tom can you really see it moderated, this forum relies on the 'evidence' of GLW, I've no soubt he posts under numerous names, and sometimes as with the legin posts forgets himself. GC as you are a stickler for accuracy it is Gawain Towler, not Gwain.
