Apart from the use of English which reminds one of an episode of Hello ,Hello , a fascinating detail is the UKIP labelled champagne given to Herr V....... by TW!

My point is why are our lot bothering to have UKIP champagne out there ? What do we have to celebrate out there .Damn all as far as I can see.

It sends out all the wrong signals .Absolute gift to those who might seek to draw the conclusion ,which TW so ably set out in his undercover interview ,that even eursceptic MEPs are out there to enjoy themselves and get shedloads of dosh .

It was a bottle of English sparkling wine, one of those produced with the UKIP name on the label back in 2004 to celebrate the euro-election result.

Spot on Petrina. It sends out the image of over indulgence and clearly can be construed as going native. Has anyone confirmed that the letter from Herman Verheirstraeten is real?

As Herr Veirherstrassen is in such a transparent mood, perhaps he can now tell us why three British members of the IndDem staff have been summarily and illegally dismissed with no good reason in the last few weeks?
