Someone should have told the cheerleader at the SEERA protest. UKIP was used all the time, and to be honest, it is a lot less off a mouthfull. It's our nickname, and I can't see any harm in it!

i agree change of name is massively confusing and gives the impression of weakness within. I like the way it's simple. I refute the fact that the name doesn't mean anything though as how you market something is a massive deal in this day and age. Just look at all the people who are doing things they probably wouldn't do if they actually woke up and were able to push aside the fog of competitive marketing that sell them items, services and ideas they think they want but 9/10 don't need or agree with but buy INTO phpbb_anyway as it's been marketed right - when you get the combination of talking home truths coupled with effective marketing you'll get a UKIP with the majority.

Leave it alone, the mnemonic nature of the acronym is a good thing, and the transform INTO phpbb_"you kip" is such a weak insult it works against anyone who uses it.

I think many members of the public would think that the name

"We Sleep"

Is more appropriate following the inaction by UKIP Leadership following their tremendous sucess at the European Election.

UKIP has not been inactive since the Euro elections. Remember Hartlepool? The draft manifesto has been drawn up, criminals serving in the European Commission have been exposed, shops have opened, many parliamentary candidates have been chosen, Roger Knapman saw off Prescott in a televised debate on the North East Says no campaign and a new Election office has opened. What has Labour done in the meantime with all their resources?

They have just spent £5million re-designing their logo.

Is that our new election poster design, then?

It would work better with 'Vote UK Independence Party' on the bottom.

How about "Sell me the old, old Tory" for the anti-Con version?
