The allegations refer to events that took place over 20 years ago. No one on here has ever suggested he is still a member of the NF.
And having a Chinese wife is not the point. People can change their views over the years. I know of at least one ex-BNP member who started dating an Indian women after he changed his views on race.

This is very strange indeed if true, as to my understanding it used to be important that any involvement with extreeme right wing groups had to be declared on paper before scrutiny for selection.When I was active,one ex member. who was very honest , admitted* mistaken past youthful involvement with BNP, he wasnt selected for anything and was very worthy in other ways. I hope a cherry picking process isnt now prevalent.However it is wrong to assume someone was once involved in an extreme party without proof.John West I fail to see what you are doing ? Anyone else notice that Croucher has been noticeably silent on the issue of Mr. Tingle's past associations? UKIP's thrown Josh, Yasin and Under-my-rock at this allegation - kind of makes you wonder if these three are considered expendable if the allegations prove true and their credibility takes a severe beating.

I have no idea if Mr Tingle once had connections with the NF but given that no evidence has been produced to support this allegation one has to take a default position of assuming it is false.
