Default Brief extract

Brief extract from the UKIP report on the link given in the last posting to this thread: Nigel Farage, leader of the UK Independence Party, will address a public meeting at Henley Town Hall on Monday 23 June in the party's Henley by-election campaign. The President of the Liberal Party, Steve Radford, will also speak. Mr Radford, a Liverpool Liberal councillor, said he intended to stress the advantages of having a free trade policy with Europe.

The late Mike Oborski (a past president) must be turning in his grave.

I was considering joining the Liberal Party, but not too sure now if the President is happy to speak at a UKIP meeting. Does anybody know what he said and, more to the point, did he explain why he was sharing a platform with Mr Farage? The authoritarian Mr Farage was the main reason for me not renewing my membership of UKIP.

NF authoritarian!? Nigel may have his faults, but authoritarian he aint. Not in my book anyhow. On what basis do you accuse NF of authoritarianism?
