Default Time To Target Lib Dem Mp's?

Thought viewers might be interested in this:

LIB DEMS MP'S TARGETTED!

The National Liberal Party launched its website today WHO ARE THE NATIONAL LIBERALS? | National Liberal Party and revealed plans to unseat the most vunerable Liberal Democratic MP's.

Under the heading TARGET TEN they aim to stand patriotic liberals in Lib Dem marginals at the next General Election. This will likely see the unseating of, amongst others, the Lib Dem no.2 Chris Huhne.

David Durant National Secretary of the recently formed National Liberal Party (NLP) said:-

"Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg's decision to commit his party to oppose demands for a Referendum on the so-called EU Reform Treaty was the last straw for many liberals. They have tolerated a pro-EU stance from the party for many years but this latest unpatriotic and anti-democratic move is too much.

We shall be aiming to stand candidates against their most vunerable MP's and offer voters a patriotic liberal alternative. We fully expect to split the liberal vote resulting in the unseating of pro-EU MP's."

I think the Simon family will be distressed see the Third Way using a picture of Sir John Simon on their website. The Liberal Nationals may have been 'Blue bottles with a yellow ****', they weren't the same ilke as 'Political Soldiers'.

They may actually be pleased to see the Lib Nat/Nat Lib tradition resurrected. I don't see any little 'political soldiers' on the National Liberal website? WHO ARE THE NATIONAL LIBERALS? | National Liberal Party. It is quite mainstream.

The Third Way do have their own separate website Third Way | LOOK TO THE FUTURE… but they are a Think-tank rather than party (they do support the NLP though). I think you must be thinking of the Third Position (which promotes the concept of Political Soldiers) which has a different tradition and was once led by Nick Griffin.
