Whatever you think of Danny or myself for that matter, a proper course would be to address the particular points he makes, not to stand-off [as you so frequently do] and fire broadsides ie generalisations. If you cannot deal with him that way [and there is very much evidence that you cannot], simply desist from responding.

Posters can deceive themselves that they are somehow superior to Danny or me, but when you engage in the way you have, you prove how silly and hypocritical you are! If you can't do any better, follow Northumbrian's advice and refrain from intervening as I often do - believe it or not.

[For the avoidance of doubt, I intervened here solely because of the asinine, passing reference to me made by bonnee dundee and because I enjoy baiting someone who likes to dish it out, but cannot deal with criticism as evidenced by his frequent complaints to the Mods. Do feel free to check with them to ascertain how many whines I've made.]

It will be interesting see whether any of the inadequates are able to desist from responding to this particular post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please consider just putting such social misfits on your 'ignore' list. You will then not even see his/their posts any more, and nobody will expect you to reply to them. I have danny on my ignore list and it works a treat.

But thanks for flying the English flag so well in your postings here.

Maybe we should focus more on our own forum (where the likes of danny and other social misfits are not allowed). But most of the time I think this is a great forum ... and if we confine ourselves to the English community, it might seem a bit quiet!

Falcon, I think you are right - banning is the obvious answer but for whatever reason, the mods here will not ban the troll. My suggestion then is to ignore and/or and reverse the trolling by posting positive threads. Relatively speaking, we have the strength of numbers :-)

Banning is too easy and is not the best solution, but have you each and all the self-discipline to effect the alternative? On present evidence, I think not . . . but time will tell.
