Default Shoe-horned into the EU - reminder that copies of CD are still available

If you want proof that Britain's membership of the EU lacks legitimacy than get your copy NOW.

Summary

This is the startling story of Britain’s entry into the Common Market in the early 1970s. The commentary on the CD uses newly available source material bringing together the various threads that shows, for the first time, how a small but determined group of men (there were few if any women involved) were able to shoehorn a very reluctant people and a reluctant Parliament into an unaccountable and essentially undemocratic bureaucracy.

The reader may, after a thorough study of the information provided, reach the conclusion of Douglas Jay MP that our entry in 1972/3 lacked moral and constitutional legitimacy. Perhaps this helps to explain why a large proportion of the British population are unable to accept our membership of the EU today and is disaffected from the electoral process and government.

The ‘commentary’ shows, besides the involvement of the Government and the Foreign Office, the active and perhaps crucial part played by the European Movement as well as the surreptitious activities of the EEC’s Office in London. We also see that, whilst the Government was telling the public that there was “No essential loss of sovereignty’, they were actively discussing monetary union and European integration.

Lack of legitimacy has two strands:

1. Moral - the CD demonstrates that.

2. Constitutional - the proof our membership lacks constitutional legitimacy has now been demonstrated, but is subject to a rear guard action by a notable barrister who doesn't like the idea.

aarable, Confirm you are giving away these CDs; if you are charging money then your post will be removed as advertising has to be negotiated through the forum's owner.

Could a forum member contact aarable and confirm that he is not charging for the CD? If you are asked to part with money please post here and I will delete the thread.

EDIT: Sorry, P&P is reasonable. I got my CD for free some time ago; it's not quite as definitive as proclaimed but the contents do leave a sour taste in the mouth. Politicians and senior civil servants are much the same the world over when it comes to getting what they want, even if it requires a little skulduggery.
