Default should britain remain in the eu

I joined UKIP because the party was formed to assist getting Britain out of the EU! If I'd wanted to stay in, I'd have continued voting Tory! In my opinion anybody who understands what the EU is all about and yet still wishes for Britain to stay in , is as big a traitor as 'Heath'!
Not only a traitor , but mentally deranged / unhinged as well. In fact, because staying in the EU is so dangerous a course for democracy, people holding such opinions should be locked up, as a danger to society, especially if they are a politician representing us (the public).

You're really arguing against a straw man here. The number of people who support a federal European state is miniscule and virtually every academic worth their salt dismissed the notion that such a thing could be created years ago. These arguments would be an awful lot more persuasive if they focused on what the EU actually is and not some mythical future scenario that nobody save for a few lunatics actually wants to see implemented. If this were the 1950s and you were debating Jean Monnet and Robert Schuman then you'd have a leg to stand on, but these arguments don't carry any weight anymore.

I think I'd take more seriously the point of view of someone if they knew how to spell minuscule.

I don't think the debate is about whether or not we should leave. The really important question is HOW?

It really comes back to our right to govern ourselves, our capacity to defend ourselves, the need to police our own borders and impose our own import tarrifs. Strict laws against currency speculation and the prevention of the movement of money overseas. The prevention of trawlers from other nations entering British waters. These are all fundamentals which if there was so much as a single testacle in the British government would be sorted out by four o' clock this evening....
