There appears to be bitterness about some policies of the EDP, no book can be judged by its cover.
Most of the opinions that I see are but speculation and usually well wide of the mark. This is a conference speech that I delivered at the weekend conference. The warm reception that it received could be seen as an indication that many dedicated EDP members are starting to tire of Britain Until the AGM changes our current, approved policy it must remain, otherwise democratic decision making would degenerate into cliques of dissent. My personal view is that at the time of Britain’s demise we must make rational decision as to what is in the best interests of England. If that is independence, so be it, if it is to be a federation of some sort then as the majority stakeholder English interests must come first. So long as England comes out in profit I do not see any problem. It is the current situation that is so infuriating. Last edited by Fred; 25-09-2008 at 04:43 PM. Reason: word order |
