Surely fair-minded Unionists would have no difficulty in signing this petition? Quote:

They do believe in nation states, they certainly regard Scotland, Wales and NI as nations - hence the continual mantra of "The nations and Regions of the United Kingdom". Also Mr Blair declared in his Preface to the 1997 Scottish Devolution Bill that 'Scotland is a proud historic nation'.

Moreover, one can participate in a petition now, whereas one cannot vote for anyone until an election is called. Frankly, I'm all in favour of voters being more dynamic. If more direct action was taken against those exercising power over us and purportedly 'representing' us, they might, just might take more notice of us . . . as a nation in our own right! - |

I would say they may believe in 'historic' nation states, but today they only believe in EU Regions. |

UKIP's policy in this sphere is totally impracticable, and English patriots must look elsewhere for realistic remedies. --------------------- |
