Yes, a few "idiots" would not (very, very few "idiots" currently being UKIP voters). The vast majority would not, being very sensible and intelligent people.

"Vote BNP instead of UKIP in order for the BNP to come 3rd just as UKIP did at the last election" is not an attractive pitch for local voters in my opinion.

A good anti-Islamic rant Vortex, thanks. Shouldn't you therefore concentrate on the approx 87.5% of voters in this ward who voted for liblabcon rather than the approx 5% who deigned to vote for the UKIP candidate instead of the BNP?

I assure you old chap while I take issue with you here and indeed other UKIP supporters my views on the 87.5% who resisted both our parties would be unprintable!

Once again squabbling between ukip and bnp .To all ukippers i say when things get really bad ,has they will, your snobbery in believing ukip is the only party to sort things out, after june 4th when your party returns less euro members, then i believe the **** will hit the fan.Your members have had four years of being part of the gravy train but done nothing back home electorally.

A combined UKIP-BNP candidate would have knocked the voters sideways - shattering all their preconceptions. It would also have knocked Labour into fourth place, as happened in Henley last June.

It would have had a real impact.

Rivalry between UKIP and BNP when neither are really competing with the 3 main parties is a waste of time.

Instead of dividing along class lines as at present, the BNP should lift its colour bar and become respectable to the timid non-risk-taking professional classes, whilst UKIP should be prepared to broaden its appeal to working class voters.

And there you have the UK's third biggest party - patriotic, anti-EU, and a force to be reckoned with.

I would vote UKIP in the absence of a Liberal Party candidate.

I would vote BNP in the absence of any Liberal, UKIP, Green, Conservative, LibDem, Labour or Other candidates, but even then only if they had a gun pointed at the head of my pet rabbit.

So you would rather Labour than the BNP?

Yes, I would. It would be a struggle, certainly. I still respect some Labour activists but the Labour leadership have shown that they are a bunch of liars and warmongers with no respect for international law. They are getting almost as authoritarian as the BNP, too, but in the end I think the BNP in power (stop laughing at the back!) would be much, much worse than Labour.
