I've never voted Labour in my life.

But I will be doing this time. I'll be doing so because I believe the country needs much, much, much more pain before the great unwashed come to their senses and demand we get out of the EU. I'm going for scorched earth. It'll be fun.

Interesting angle here, but I fear memories are short. Having been very opposed to UK joining the ERM, imagine my delight when the ERM was causing so many problems nationwide but the govt of the day felt obliged to support UK's "membership" of it (at first). But what could have been a golden opportunity to show how economic oblivion comes from an artificial common currency across nations , this lost its true potency when Lamont and Major threw in the towel before their inadequate attempts to maintain the pound's position had time to really bite at the electorate. Needless to say, without the Pound/ERM crash, we would have had the euro forced upon us.

Would people remember the lessons of ERM? Well, it seems plenty have swept it under the carpet. Some people never learn. The conservatives even think they are capable of government again !!

Nahhh. Memories are fine.
I'm protected from any consequences. I despise most of my fellow countrymen (present company excepted, of course). I look forward to munching the popcorn and enjoying the spectacle as most of them turn to cannibalism because the local Tescos have run dry.

Genius. I thought I was radical but that is of an entirely different order

Apparently this elicited a negative comment of '.' in my user CP. Very descriptive comment left by a very mature person.
