Green territory. The BNP will probably make progress, since it is a sh*thole and that's where they tend to do best.

I'm very pleased to see us beat off the full byelection machines of the Lib Dems and Labour here. Another David v Goliath result, which should be a lot more comfortable for us in 2010.

A good win for the Greens.

The Greens show that with a targetted well worked areas so called minor parties can get elected.

Lib Dem 26.3% +22.2%
Lab 23.1% +1.1%
BNP 12.7% -1.1%
Con 9.8% -5.2%
AGS 1.0% +0.5%

Massive drop in Green vote.

Well, yeah - Buts its a by-election. You know how mental the LDs & Lab go, when presenterd with these. For a minor party, with a much smaller activist base, this is an achievement.
