The People's Party of Furness? Shades of the Tooting Popular Front! What does it stand for?

BNP last but presumably 'a good result in a difficult area'. Not clear at time of writing whether they received 144 or 104 votes (I think 144 more likely).

Con 478
Lab 177
Peoples 155
BNP 144

or

Oh don't worry dear, when the BNP underperforms then I will happily post "a bad result in a good area" but that phrase seems to purvey UKIP's results of late!.

I seem to have overlooked your post on BNP underperformance in the 2008 local elections. Please remind me of it. Thanks.

I see you have called me "dear". I cannot see how I can win on this point so humbly accept defeat and simply request that you do not ever use the term with regard to me in the future.

I accept your defeat in the debating arena once again. There was me trying to establish a rapport with you and you spurn me, nevertheless I'll refrain from using the aforementioned term in future!

Considering your reply my post was clearly very well put. No 'win' ever being possible in any response I could make to your description of me as "dear".

This must be the most pathetic 'victory' ever acheived in the history of online British political discussion. Congratulations.

Can't agree with you there, it's just a matter of time before you upstage me!
