Libertarianaism is a Left Wing ideology.

There is a false assumption, a grossly false assumption, that libertarianism is some sort of Right-wing philosophy. I would assert most strongly, it is not. Properly understood libertarianism in its “classical liberal” incarnation was the original Left wing of politics. The Right wished to “conserve” the prevalent social order. Liberals did not. They wished to reform it in many different way including ending the feudal system, abolition of the church/state alliance and ending the government coddling of certain business interests through subsidies, monopolies and protectionism. There was very, very little which classical liberals though worthy of conserving. The advocates of conserving the social order were called conservatives and their method for doing so was the use of State force.

BC how many times before you get it - Libertarianism is NOT about Left or Right but about Freedom or Totalitarianism.

    simple really

"This is a sharp Medicine, but it is a Physician for all diseases and miseries".

Freedom is not always a good thing.
The freedom to starve is no freedom at all for example.

As long as I am on the opposite wing to the fascists, I couldn't care less what wing you call it.

I agree with BC. It is a left-wing affliction. Where the hell did fascism come into the arguement?

We could debate this all day, but frankly it is irrelevant and doesn't matter one bit. Something being left wing doesn't make it false and to presume that it did would be a fallacy.

What matters is that libertarianism is the best political theory, unlike the failed theories of nationalism, socialism, anarchism and so forth.

Strange I see Libertarianism and Socialism as two sides of the same Materialist coin.
