Would you bring back capital punishment and make homosexuality illegal?

The term conservative just seems so meaningless to me, I must say.

Bang on BonnieDundee, bang on. To use a slight eskew example...

A Marxist is a Marxist the world over

A Conservative can be a million things. In Britain a Conservative is traditionally a 'right-of-centre' person who favours a free market, tough law and order stance and is sceptical of immigration or the EU for example.

In Russia? A Conservative is a former Communist who supports the renationalisation of all industries, a return of Soviet power and the USSR.

Why does it matter? I expect a liberal in Britain is different to a liberal in Russia too.

Not sure if you were referring to me Smidgey, but in case you were I support neither.

I would bring back Capital punishment.
On homosexuality I would bring back section 28 and restore the ban on the showing of homosexual affection in public as it was up to the late 1990's.
Any form of Homosexuality on TV before 11am would also be banned.

No thats what the Socialist BBC term Conservatives.

As for the Free Market thats more of a Classical Liberal concept than a Conservative one.

The Liberal International which has parties in every country is split between Social and Classical Liberals.
Our Liberals Democrats of course being a Social Liberal party.

Sorry, I wasn't - I should have made that more clear. Although it is nice to know we share an opinion on these issues.

If you don't mind me asking why you would do these things?
