Aardvark asked me to put a “complaint into the complaints section” regarding The Bear’s behaviour in The Heretical Two thread.

To whit, regarding his having “exceeded the bounds”.

Here then is some of the nasty stuff aimed by The Bear at your truly in said thread. The repetition is as it may be found in the thread.

Here is a direct threat.

It is a threat of alerting the police to my supposed anti-semitism AND it is letting me know that The Bear (and his crew?) have ways of eliciting personal information (about those they don’t like) that might worry the majority:

Read what I wrote, “Jack”, not what you want it to be.

For your edification it was “I now have sufficient evidence to make a formal complaint to the authorities and you may soon get dragged in again to explain your conduct” and the key word was “may”.

Not will, not shall, MAY.

Nor do I say that I WILL make a formal complaint, just that you have provided sufficient evidence should I wish to.

As for “Be careful what you write and where you write it, JKDHB, you never know what may happen. Who knows? One night slipping into an unusually deep sleep, next morning wakening in a cargo shed at TLV airport!” that’s no threat from me, that’s simply a statement, a statement that is so obviously ludicrous that no one could possibly take it for real.

Do you really honestly think anyone would bother over such relatively trivial rubbish as to go to the time and trouble to do such a thing?

Interesting bit of backpedalling here. Everyone but bear seems to have read the implied and explicit threats posted by him/her. He/she must have been reading a different one from the rest of us.

The first one is talking about legal action by British law enforcement. There are British laws against racial hatred etc, no matter what you think of them.

The second one seems to be refering to Mossad. I don't think Bear is a Mossad agent and it doesn't appear to me that he is saying this will or should happen. I therefore don't see that this complaint stacks, Bear may have been a little uncivil and he shouldn't have been but then again Jack Black appears to be little more than a troll.

Bear is spirited but generally a very good poster except perhaps when you get him onto the subject of Muslims.

A troll is hard to define, you usually know them when you seem them though. Someone who comes to one section of the forum and starts alot of threads on similar subjects particularly when they are sometimes quite ignorant and offence threads is generally in the troll sphere.

And I didn't understand your concept of troll either.

Difficult to define it may well be, but as you accused Jack Black of appearing to be 'little more than a troll', then you must have had some idea of what you meant by that.

If you choose to insult people then it might be a good idea to know exactly what your insults mean.
