it's nice to see a topic on this board that we all agree on. I would almost go further and say that service men, especially those on active duty, should be able to have more perks. Perhaps not paying VAT on their hotel rooms or some such for starters. A bunch of people who are doing something that I would be too afraid to do myself and who are treated in a shockingly poor way by the Government. They get very poor pay for what they do, and yes I know that they joined up of their own free will (but I am sure that they were not told about the lack of support that they would receive). Government needs to save some money - oh, lets mke cuts on the defence budget whilst expecting the troops to do more than ever!!!!
