I have been a committee member of the Swinton Circle, I have known Alan Harvey for some years, and I am convinced that he is sincere in his desire to keep extremist elements out of the Circle's meetings.

I have engaged with the CDA in the past, and I regret that that organisation does not share Harvey's principles.

I have spoken at a meeting of the Springbok Club, which I would not have done if I beleived it to be an extremist or racist organisation.
