It’s fascinating how different people see things in different ways.
I would
hate to control my wife, in fact if I ever thought that I was I would be utterly ashamed of myself.
Surely the nature of a relationship between two people is one of a loving sharing, mutual supporting, mutual respecting partnership in every way? Where one party has strengths these compliment where the other may not and vice versa?
That’s not to say that we don’t compromise on things from time to time and one party go with the flow, in fact to do so is all part of a good partnership, but to control, let alone want to
control?

Abuse doesn’t just come down to physical violence. Abuse at a mental level, including domination, can be equal or even worse than physical abuse.
Those who express pride in "controlling their women" would do well to take note of that.
