On my views and interpretations of Conservatism, I'd go with Mrs Thatcher. But at the time, she wasn't a traditional Conservative. She was a woman. She was a product of the grammar school system. She even told the Old Guard of the Conservative Party she didn't need them anymore, as she had a mandate for everyone, and not just the Establishment. She was one of the last politicians with real balls.
