Well, it just doesn't add up does it? John West claims that he wishes to remain active in UKIP, both as a branch chairman and as a PPC! At the same time he is apparently so outraged by the release of his interview video on Youtube that he has reported the party for violating the Data Protection Act, thereby possibly causing damage to the party. Therefore it would follow that either he isn't as outraged as he makes out, or he is delusional. If he was truly outraged by his treatment at the hands of the party hierarchy we would expect him to pull a Richard Suchorzewski or an Anthony Butcher and leave, which could be considered a reasonable course of action in the circumstances (although wrong in my opinion). If on the other hand his public outrage is a sham, then we must wonder about the true motivation behind his threats of legal action?
In the circumstances do you honestly believe that John West would continue with his threatened legal action against the party if an offer of a top spot on the Eastern Region's MEP list were made to him?
