Apology accepted.
There seems to have been a huge amount of assumptions re the selection process and the media testing.
First. The interviews on tv were preceded by a mock newspaper interview.
A two or three paragraph on the performance was then passed to the selection committe. They were given a mark out of ten.
Remember that the selection committee marked pout of 120 over six categories.I have no idea what the categories were.
The selection committee did NOT see the tv interviews. Therefore I find it hard to believe anybody could fail the entire selection process on the media test.
Indeed some people who performed really badly made their way onto the lists in some regions .

The interviews were recorded onto a lap top.
This was then used to produce one disc which was sent to Chris Gill who did have the chance to see all or some of the recorded interviews.
Therefore all info was held either on the laptop or on the disc by Mr Gill.
Hopes that helps clarify.
