I wouldn't want UKIP to produce similar results to the above - I want UKIP to hold onto its vote and increase it - not cut its vote almost in half which is what happened (in percentage vote share) to your Popular Alliance Party at Stretton in Burton earlier this week.
Down by almost half (in percentage terms) in just 9 months - and in a contest in which UKIP and the English Democrats (ED) were not there to take anti-EU and pro-England votes away from your party.
13% vote share for the Popular Alliance - sounds like a good result: until it is compared to last May's result for your party.
Had UKIP contested the ward of Stretton at Burton this week, your Popular Alliance would have been lucky to get 5% of the vote in what is your strongest ward in the country.
And if the English Democrats had contested Stretton this week as well as UKIP, your Popular Alliance would have scraped through with about a 3% share.
